What does the Education Ministry do? Well, we oversee Sunday School, special Sunday School programs (such as a Christmas or Easter one), teacher training (for Sunday School classes and for home groups), and Vacation Bible School. If you would like to be part of our ministry, please pray about it, and then see me at church. We need you! Sue Hartman Deacon, Education Ministry |
Sunday School - Sunday mornings at
9:45 a.m., classes for people from 0 - 99. Come and join us as we
discuss and learn about Jesus' life and His Word.
Jr. Church - Sunday mornings, during the
morning worship service, beginning at 11 a.m. Kids from age 3 through 4th
grade stay in the service for the first worship block and the prayer time.
They are then dismissed to Jr. Church, where they learn about the various
parts of the worship service and more about the Bible.
Youth Activities - See Youth
Ministries.
In the spring and summer, we encourage our
teens to attend Believe and CIY (Christ in Youth), weekend and
week-long Christian conferences for jr. high and sr. high teens, respectively.
Our teens come back revved up and with some great new songs they always
share with the congregation.
In the summer, we host Vacation Bible School for the neighborhood children. This program happens usually for 5 days
in a row and is a rambunctious mix of Bible songs, stories, exercise, mission
talks, crafts, snacks, and fun!
